HITZEN ARTEAN

The work aims to transform an everyday scene into a dreamlike landscape in which real-life experiences are mixed with the imaginary. Two women, a chair and a book generate a dialogue seeking new meanings. The words evoked give voice to the bodies and the sonic space.

In 2021, Isabel Lobo and Idoia Rouco created the company SSASK. They have presented several works: “Logela”, “Azkorri” (a site-specific project, Call for Cultural Creation in Getxo), “Azkorri” (Videodance, Call for the Visual Arts in Getxo), “Burro” and “Hitzen Artean” (Sarea Circuit 2025).
